If you’re a Dumbrill, then you’ve come to the right place. I’ll be adding more info here over time, but for now there are two things that you should do.
1. Get your own @dumbrill.net email address. It’s free!
- If you’d like one, send an email to admin [at] dumbrill.net and I’ll get you set up.
- I can either set it up to forward to your existing email, or host it here. It’s your choice.
- Be sure to include a link to some sort of online profile so i can verify you are who you say you are. I wouldn’t want any impostors running around claiming to be one of us
- A dumbrill.net email address is a great present for your wife. If you’ve managed to convince her to marry you AND take your last name, you’re a good man.
2. Head over to Facebook and join the Dumbrill & Dumbrille Family group
- The group was created by Daniel D. from Toronto and I stole the description for the about page on this website. It was hard not to, since he’s such an eloquent guy.
- As of today, there are 37 members, but a search on Facebook reveals a staggering 110 Dumbrills! We’re not going out of business any time soon.
If you’re really ambitious, I can also set you up with a wordpress blog like this one on a dumbrill.net subdomain. Something like this: http://byron.dumbrill.net. That takes a bit more effort, so think about it for a minute, make sure it’s something you want to do and then send an email to admin [at] dumbrill.net. Oh, it’s also free.
That’s it for now. Cheers.
